My response to this quote: I do not like the word ‘conflict’.\u00a0 It immediately manifests a situation into a problem. If we substitute the word ‘provocation’, we have a force that can push us all forward to a better place, a new situation.\u00a0 I often wonder why we spend so much time fixing what is wrong instead of moving on to a better place.<\/p>\n
This is why I am not a big fan of Conscious Discipline<\/a>.\u00a0 When it first started, it seemed like a great solution, but now I think we are at a different point in our journey in working with children. It is now time to think about what children are feeling and thinking about, rather than develop our skills in controlling them or guiding them.
